COURSE DESCRIPTION
Staging takes place in Hinesburg NRG Systems on Rt. 116 with a 2 mile neutral zone.  Racing begins at Buck Hill Rd.  There is a moderate climb up to the circuit start which begins after a left turn onto Hinesburg Hollow Rd which contains many false flats and short shallow climbs until a right turn onto the Main Rd in Huntington.  Racers will pass through the Huntington upper village where the feed zone is located.  After the feed zone racers will encounter a number of short hills until the right turn onto Rt. 17.  The climbing becomes more challenging here and the K/QOM is about 1.1K after this turn.  A few more short hills and then a long descent to the base of the Baby Gap.  Racers will take a right onto Rt. 116 which rolls along passing through the village of Starksboro to the finish which is slightly uphill and will take all the explosive power the sprinters can muster in the to drive to the line.  There is great viewing for spectators as there are very long sight lines coming into the finish and a nice grassy area from which to watch.
